All Pronteau boilers come with a filter to protect it from limescale so the answer is no. However, if you are in an area with particularly hard water you may need to replace your filter more regularly. Our filters improve the taste and odour of domestic water so if you notice a difference in the water quality or taste then it’s time to change your filter.
